Company emergency plan
To minimise the negative consequences of an emergency, for your own operations, employees, visitors and/or local residents, it is important that your organisation has a company emergency plan. Something can happen in any business. Fire, an accident, a visitor becoming unwell, etc. How do you act then? Who should be warned? Who takes what action?
Compulsory company emergency plan?
Under Article 15 of the Working Conditions Act, it is compulsory to draw up clear instructions and share them with employees. A company emergency plan is a useful tool for this.
What does a company emergency plan contain?
A company emergency plan is a roadmap that systematically states what the organisation should do if an emergency occurs. A company emergency plan ensures the safety of the site and its surroundings.
Based on your risks, the nature of your activities and working environment, our Safety Consultants draw up a company emergency plan for your FAFS organisation. Naturally, this plan complies with NEN 8112 and includes a safety plan, evacuation plan and deployment plans for all calamities that may occur at your workplace.
Evacuation exercise
You can only act properly during an emergency if you have practised! Together with the company emergency response workers, we draw up various exercise scenarios, taking both the risks on the shop floor and the company emergency plan as a starting point. Both simple and more complex exercises. Sometimes announced and sometimes not. We practise using smoke machines and Lotus victims. We observe, record and then evaluate the exercise with all those involved.
